Think twice about using your mate's phone or tablet. One in six mobile phones in Britain is contaminated with fecal matter, and one in five children use tech on the loo, two surveys have found.
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Queen Mary, University of London also found that you can't trust your friends.
95 percent of respondents to their survey said they wash their hands with soap whenever possible, but 92 percent of phones had bacteria on them. Filthy fibbers.
World Toilet Day, held on the 19th of November, has found that one in five children use some form of technology while on the loo. That's got to make you think twice about letting them play with your iPad.
Tech usage on the loo is gaining ground on the well-established tradition of reading the paper. A similar poll by World Toilet Day last year, which found reading to be the most popular bathroom habit.
