It has been a bad year for dictators and now South African fast food chicken restaurant Nando's has turned the fall of regimes to its advantage.
Its new advert is a parody of infamous leaders remembering the "good old days" of causing terror and misery on a national scale.
It features a mocked up Robert Mugabe having a water pistol fight with Colonel Gaddafi, playing in the sand with Saddam and messing about on the swings with South Africa’s P.W Botha.
But the advert ends on a sour note as Mugabe sits on his own at the dinner table: "This time of year, no-one should have to eat alone," says the voice-over.
The new video which is on YouTube is part of the Nando's Mealfor6: Guess who is coming to dinner campaign.
