Video footage of a school prank which blindfolded parents and children and then made them 'make out' with each other has provoked a mixture of outrage and disbelief.
The video, which has been posted on YouTube, shows the prank, which took place at a high school in Minnesota, US, during the end of year "pep fest". Students were blindfolded in front of their classmates and were told to wait for a kiss from a "special someone".
But unbeknown to them, the "special someone" was their mother or father. The principal of the Rosemount High School has been forced to apologise after the stunt provoked outrage.
John Wollersheim told the Associated Press he was "responsible" for the incident.
"This event offended people, and pep fests should have nothing that offends people."
Those who viewed the video on YouTube reacted with horror, branding the prank "disgusting" and "weird".
But one disagreed, saying: "People need to lighten up. It's not a big deal, it's just funny."
What do you think?
