A thank you note featuring a rare sketch of Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet is expected to sell for £20,000.
Featuring Pooh holding a piece of paper that reads 'vote of thank you', E H Shepard's pen and ink drawing will be sold along with a letter sent to actor Peter Bromilow in 1954.
It goes on sale later this month at the the National Fine Art and Antiques Fair, which runs at the Birmingham NEC until Sunday 22 January.
The sketch is one of a few Winnie-the-Pooh drawings that exist outside the official Shepard archive.
For all Pooh's enduring popularity with children - and art collectors - across the world, the man who brought the bear to life spent the last years of his life hating him.
Shepard reportedly resented what he referred to as "that silly old bear" for the way in which Pooh overshadowed his other work.
