Construction workers scaled the top of The Shard, London's latest landmark, on Monday, putting in place some of the final pieces of the giant construction.
Europe's highest tower is being built close to Tower Bridge and will rise to a height of 310 metres (1,017ft) when complete.
The building, which already dominates the capital's historic skyline, has been built at a cost of more than £450m, and will be divided between residential accommodation and office space.

Thanks to the clear weather over the region, the lucky workers enjoyed a stunning view of London and the surrounding counties.
