Cheryl Cole Confirms Girls Aloud Comeback In Radio 1 Interview

YAY! Cheryl Confirms Reunion (Kinda)

We've just been forced to explain our behaviour in the office after our little chair dance attracted some awkward looks - but it was for a VERY good reason - Cheryl Cole has confirmed Girls Aloud are getting back together.

During a chat with Chris Moyles on Radio 1 this morning, Chezza revealed the girls have been in talks to regroup for the band's tenth anniversary later this year.

After all the girls were spotted arriving at a London hotel recently, Chris asked Cheryl when the band were last together and, after initially dodging the question, she replied: "Recently."

When pressed for more details she said: "It's coming up to our tenth anniversary in November and we all want to do something to celebrate it, so watch out!

"What happened was it had been seven years, consistently non-stop touring, album after album, and, just as women, we needed that space to grow as people."

In the interview, she also talked out her relationship with "frenemy" Simon Cowell.

While she tried to dodge the awkward question about being axed from the US version of The X Factor, she said she is now on good terms with her old boss.

"I have spoken to him many times since. If you're asking if there were interesting conversations - absolutely."
