Fulham striker Andrew Johnson's agent has revealed the player could move to the United Arab Emirates because "all the road signs are in English".
Johnson is out of contract this summer, having spent four years at Craven Cottage, and his agent Anthony McFarlane admitted his client's failure to agree a new deal could prompt a move to the Middle East.
"This hasn't come out of the blue. Andy has been on holiday with his family a number of times to Dubai. He is familiar with the city," McFarlane told Sport360°.
"He knows where to go, how to get about and the culture of the people. It would be like a home from home. The majority of people speak English; all the road signs are in English. It would be a great place for him and his family to go.
"It's something he has firmly been thinking about. He is now 31, and he has never been in this situation in his career where he is available on a Bosman."
Johnson, who was signed from Everton for £10.5m, scored a commendable 11 goals from 33 appearances in 2011/12, despite not being a regular in the team and suffering a series of injuries.
He has scored 27 goals in his four seasons with the Whites, but last appeared for the side on 17 March.
In his debut Premier League season in 2004/05, he finished as second top scorer behind only Thierry Henry whilst at Crystal Palace.
