The late Amy Winehouse's boyfriend Reg Traviss was spotted in public last night after it emerged he has been charged with rape.
The film director, who dated Amy for more than a year before she died at her home in Camden last July, was seen leaving London's Groucho Club in the early hours.
Reg kept a low profile as he left the private members club in Soho, but managed to smile at waiting photographers.
It was reported yesterday that the 35-year-old has been charged with two counts of rape following his arrest on 5 April in relation to an allegation reported on 18 January.
Rebecca Mundy, a lawyer for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "I have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Reginald Traviss with two counts of rape.
"The alleged offences took place between 29 December 2011 and 1 January 2012."
The lawyer from the CPS London Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit added: "The decision was taken in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors."
He is set to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on 17 July.
