London Transport nerds already know that the iconic Tube map looks like an electrical diagram - and is commonly (though mistakenly) thought to be based on one.
Now a Japanese designer has taken it full circle, by designing a working radio with a circuit board that looks exactly like the London Tube.
Hitomi Kai Yoda developed the circuit map as part of the Designers In Residence programme at the London Design Museum.

The idea is both to design a beautiful object, and to help the users understand how the electricity travels around the radio to make it function.
It's a stunning object, and while there's no word on whether you'll ever be able to buy one, we'll be first in line if you can.
