Russell Crowe has reportedly split from his wife of nine years, Danielle Spencer.
The couple - who tied the knot on Russell's Aussie farm in 2003 - are said to be on amicable terms following the breakdown of their marriage, which insiders are blaming on the 'Gladiator' star's workload.
Australian singer Danielle is said to be looking after their two sons Charles, eight, and Tennyson, six as Russell shoots his latest film, 'Noah', in the US - his sixth film this year.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement before getting hitched. It's claimed this will entitle her to a minimum payout of $15 million. She is also expected to keep the marital home - a $14million penthouse in the Woolloomooloo Wharf complex in Sydney.
They are the latest A-list couple to go their separate ways this year. Johnny Depp split from his long term partner Vanessa Paradis in June and just days later Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes announced they were also separating.
