Not content with simply partaking in the incredibly risky sport of base jumping, Norwegian dare-devil, Richard Henriksen decided to add a little 'swing' to the sport.
Father-of-five, Henriksen, who was filming the stunt for a Norwegian TV appropriately called "Normal Madness", attached a gymnastic high-bar to the side of the cliff in an attempt to acrobatically launch into his jump.
All was well as Henriksen nimbly climbed onto the bar and proceeded to deftly swing from the apparatus, but then, well, watch the video.
Arde Sende Osen, the TV show's presenter, thought that Henriksen was a goner, as his stunned reaction clearly shows
"When this happened, I thought 'he is going to die'," he told reporters.
Thankfully, Henriksen managed to safely deploy his parachute and his stunt was instantly guaranteed epic-fail internet stardom.
