Rockets are cool. But they aren't cute.
One father and daughter team changed all that recently, when they launched a Hello Kitty into space.
The pair - 12-year-old Lauren Rojas and Rod, her father, sent the rocket up into space at a science fair in California.
They got the idea from watching a TV commercial where a balloon was launched into the sky, according to ABC.
It took about a month for her father and her to plan the rocket and launch it 93,625 feet above the Earth.
