The usually mild-mannered Holly Willoughby lost her temper on 'This Morning' yesterday when guest contributor Katie Hopkins made some controversial comments about children's names being linked to class.
The former 'Apprentice' star looked stunned when a visibly annoyed Holly shut her down at the end of the segment on ITV's morning show.
Hopkins said: "I think you can tell a great deal from a name. For me there's certain names that I hear and I think, 'Urgh'. For me, a name is a shortcut of finding out what class that child comes from and makes me ask, 'Do I want my children to play with them?
"There's a whole set of things that go with children like that and that's why I don't like those sorts of children."
Katie Hopkins and Holly Willoughby
When Holly asked Hopkins if she felt her opinions were limiting her children in any way, she replied: "Yes."
The co-host then asked: "Why would you do that? Why would you do that?"
Hopkins went on to criticise names such as Tyler, Charmaine and Chardonnay, before Holly told her: "That's terrible, listen to what you're saying."
Visibly annoyed, Holly then told her: "Oh stop, stop right there,"
Cue a stunned face from Hopkins and Philip Schofield holding his face in his hands.
