Yesterday saw three book launches that - let's be honest - possess varying degrees of credibility.
1. Jessie J signed copies of her autobiography Nice To Meet You at Waterstones in Piccadilly, London.
2. Tulisa headed to WH Smith in Milton Keynes to launch Honest - My Story So Far.
3. JK Rowling unveiled her first book for grownups, The Casual Vacancy at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
Forget judging a book by its cover (so 2011); we prefer to draw our conclusions regarding the quality and content of a book according to the author's fashion choices. Our considered literary conclusion? We'll be reaching for the Rowling, and give the other two a miss (soz Jessie and Tulisa).
