A lawyer has reportedly launched a lawsuit against Apple after he became so addicted to porn that he "could no longer tell the difference" between fiction and reality.
Chris Sevier from Tennessee launched the case following the break-up of his marriage - caused, he claims, by Apple products not coming with built-in filters to stop his watching porn.
In a 50-page complaint which was filed in June, Sevier said that his problems began when he tried to visit Facebook but typed F**kbook instead - a site, he says, which "appealed to his biological sensibilities as a male and led to an unwanted addiction with adverse consequences".
In the complaint he alleges that Apple devices made watching adult videos so easy he lost all touch with reality. He says that "Apple is hijacking great sex" by enabling "unfair competition" between porn actresses and real women.
The Plaintiff could no longer tell the difference between Internet pornography and tangible intercourse due to the content he accessed through the Apple products, which failed to provide him with warnings of the dangers of online pornography whatsoever.
He adds that his addiction was so severe that "The Plaintiff began desiring younger, more beautiful girls featured in porn videos than his wife, who was no longer 21."
Apple has not responded to the lawsuit - which you can read in full below. Sevier's license to practice law has been suspended since 2011 on disability or mental health grounds.
