Liz McDonald will be back behind the bar as the landlady of the Rovers Return when she returns to 'Coronation Street', it has been reported.
Beverley Callard, who plays the brassy blonde, announced she was returning to the ITV soap earlier this year.

According to the Daily Star, her character is set take over the iconic pub from current landlady Stella Price, after son Steve buys back the boozer, having previously owned it with his mum.
An insider told the paper: "The McDonalds have always had a soft spot for the Rovers. Steve would never have got rid of it if it wasn't for his financial problems when he was wed to Becky.
"So now that he can afford it again, he can't wait to get back in there."
The Rovers Return
Steve will apparently keep his purchase of the pub a secret from everyone except Liz.
In scenes set to air next month, Stella tells daughter Eva and mum Gloria: "I've got someone who's offered the asking price, it's a mystery buyer.
"£160,000 is a fair price, it's a lot of money. We're going to have to start packing today, we move out on Friday."
Liz left the Street in April 2011, after her on-off husband Jim McDonald was sent back to prison.
Actress Beverley told The Mirror after quitting the show: "Corrie schedules are full-on. It's all or nothing and I had to face a choice between The Street or Mum. I love everything about Corrie but there could only be one answer."
She is set to return as Liz in the autumn.
