Co-written by James, ‘You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You’ samples old-school soul, blues and rock, and showcases the 25-year-old's emotive and gravelly singing style.
In the video promo, James performs the song in the middle of a street, as residents gradually begin to form a party around him.
The Middlesborough-born singer's first single, a cover of Shontelle's 'Impossible', was the fastest-selling single of 2012 in the UK and has become the biggest selling 'X Factor' single of all time, achieving over 2.5million sales worldwide.
Back in December, Arthur told The Huffington Post UK: "I think I'll make a good album and it will do all right. I've got hundreds of songs, the hard part will be choosing which ones to go on the album. I want it out there as soon as physically possible."
You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You' is set for release on 20 October.
