The face of Apple's famous voice assistant has been revealed.
In an interview with CNN, American voice actor Susan Bennett admits that she was the original source of the voice.
"I'm the original voice of Siri," she told CNN.
In explaining why she hadn't come forward before, she said: "I wasn't sure that I wanted the notoriety... and I also wasn't sure where I stood legally."
Bennett said that it was a video on The Verge that convinced her to come forward.
She added that her voice was recorded back in 2005 at GM Voices on behalf of ScanSoft. She didn't know what the voice would be used for, but while Apple hasn't confirmed her story experts appear convinced she is the real deal.
