A team of French designers and researchers have revealed what they say is the most accurate visualisation yet of how cats and other animals really see the world.
French 3D design company Dassault Systèmes worked with vetinary ophthalmologist Didier Schmidt-Morand to build a 3D world which highlights the different sight abilities of hawks, dogs, rats, cats and bees.
The 3D 'game' (you can see the game and project here) is set in the Place Vendome in Paris, and lets players navigate around with a filter applied to the graphics to show how the differences manifest themselves.
