Jim Davidson will make his Edinburgh Fringe debut this year in a series of shows that will focus on his 'nightmare year' and his time in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The comedian - who won the latest series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' in January - will take to the stage in the hour-long comedy show called 'No Further Action'.
Jim Davidson will make his Edinburgh Fringe debut in August
The title of the show refers to the 59-year-old's arrest over alleged sexual allegations, which were subsequently dropped and no further action taken.
Speaking about the series of shows, Jim said: “I have played some of the very best gigs of my career in Scotland – the crowds are like no other in the UK. I can’t believe it’s taken me almost 40 years to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe.
"I had a rough ride for a while last year, but it’s great to be back on stage doing what I love, and the best way of dealing with a nightmare is to talk about it.
"I always seem to find the funny side… And then, for a finale, along came Big Brother. Wait till you hear the inside stories on that!”
Jim will star in 'No Further Action' at Rainy Hall, Assembly Hall from 1 – 24 August 2014 www.edfringe.com
