Apple was never going to be the first company in the world to release a smartwatch - or even a curved screen wearable.
But it's still just possible they could be the first to release one that the public will actually want to buy.
A new report suggests that the iWatch will definitely have a curved screen, and that it will be flexible enough to withstand the punishment you'd expect of a wrist-based gadget.
The report on Mashable says that the curved flexible screen will be made by LG, and that it will come in two sizes - 1.3 inches and 1.5 inches.
The watch will apparently come in a variety of materials at launch, and some may cost upwards of $1,000 - which seems very high to us.
Mashable's source - who we cannot verify independently - said that September is the most likely launch date.
