Sepp Blatter Suggests Football Could Be Played On Other Planets

Many had wondered whether Sepp Blatter was so out of touch he lived on Mars, and now the Fifa president has all but confirmed it after he proposed an "Interplanetary Cup".

No, seriously. Rather than humbly address further corruption allegations against his beleaguered organisation, Blatter looked ahead to a galaxy far, far away.

“We shall wonder if one day our game is played on another planet? Why not? Then we will have not only a World Cup we will have inter-planetary competitions. Why not?”
