Kanye West Booed At Wireless Festival For Making Customary Rant During Friday Night Set

Kanye Booed By 50,000-Strong London Crowd

Kanye West was left under no misapprehension as to what the 50,000-strong British crowd thought of his opinions last night, with most of the park booing him loudly as he tried to voice them, during his Wireless headlining set.

The US rapper interrupted his act several times to complain, variously, at such pantomime villains as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Nike, moaning that they "talk about me like I'm a terrorist" and, later, stopped his set to complain about the camera angles he was being filmed at.

The first half of the show saw Kanye in a jewelled mask, of which his bling-favouring wife Kim Kardashian would be proud, and his gig included hits 'Touch The Sky', 'Diamonds From Sierra Leone', 'Jesus Walks', 'All Falls Down' and 'I'm Good'. It was during this last one that the cameras started to offend him, much to the dismay of the crowd standing in the rain to see him.

His reception was a shame, because Kanye had kindly stepped in to replace unwell Drake on Saturday at the Finsbury Park arm of the Festival, so he now headlines both nights, but perhaps he just needs to tone down the ranting, and up the rapping for which he is celebrated.

Has Kanye ever let us down before? Ahhh...
