The conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians may manifest itself most visually in the horrifying pictures and videos of rockets, airstrikes and the inevitable casualties that result.
But behind the scenes of all of this are the efforts of press teams, commentators and journalists, all vying to present their version of events to the world.
And yet it's often the simplest of methods that convey a message most effectively.
The infographic below is the work of James Sadri who constructed a website, countthekids.org to illustrate the number of children killed on each side of the conflict since 2000.
It's undoubtedly effective and graphically illustrates the dire need for a ceasefire on both sides.
