‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge Darcey Bussell has revealed that the team have been trying to convince Sir Chris Hoy to take part in this year’s show.
It is also rumoured that Pixie Lott could be signing up, joining Judy Murray and Frankie Sandford, both already confirmed to be taking part.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Darcey reveals: “Hopefully we get a Scottish sports person, that would be quite cool.
Sadly, Sir Chris is understandably quite busy and the BBC are yet to put pen to paper on a deal.
"We always try and we still have to work a bit on him as he's always been busy," Darcey adds. "Hopefully now his job as an ambassador for the Commonwealth Games is over he might consider it. The producers are doing their job very well."

Meanwhile, a source tells the Daily Star that singer Pixie is already on board, revealing that bosses are hoping the singer will bring in a younger audience.
“Producers think Pixie is perfect for ‘Strictly’,” the source states. “She’s sexy and stunning, yet is very classy which is what ballroom dancing is all about.
There are plenty of other celebs rumoured to be taking part in the series, including former ‘TOWIE’ star Mark Wright and Caroline Flack.
