'EastEnders' actor Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, is the latest star to sign up for the next series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
Jake follows in the footsteps of fellow 'EastEnders' stars Charlie Brooks (Janine Butcher) and Scott Maslen (Jack Branning) who have already strutted their stuff on the 'Strictly' dancefloor.

Earlier this week, it was rumoured that Jake was signing up and it has now been confirmed.
"I'm really relishing the prospect of hitting the Strictly dance floor this year," he states. "I'm doing it for all the dads out there and you never know, there's always a chance of being the first Walford resident to take home the glitterball... Bring it on!"
Earlier this month, The Saturdays' singer and new mum Frankie Sandford revealed she would be taking part.
Speaking about her stint on the 'Strictly' dancefloor, Frankie said: "I'm such a huge fan of Strictly. I've always wanted to be a part of the show – it looks like so much fun and the costumes are just gorgeous."
TV presenter and former 'Big Brother' star Alison Hammond also confirmed she had signed up, saying: "I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the ‘Strictly’ team. I am ready to immerse myself in glitter and hard work, with a dash of fun along the way.”
And earlier this week, tennis ace Andy Murray's mum, Judy, said she 'couldn't wait to get started' after being confirmed for the show.
"I'm a huge ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fan but a total armchair dancer," she said. "It's going to be a big challenge for me and for whoever has to dance with me but I absolutely can't wait to get started!”
Finally, Mark Wright, Simon Webbe and 'Casualty' actress Sunetra Sarker have also signed up.
