You know it's war when Cheryl Fernandez-Versini bares her teeth, and the 'X Factor' freshly reinstated judge has come out fighting.
On the day that the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' makes its debut AT THE SAME TIME as 'The X Factor' airs on the 'other side', Cheryl scoffs at the idea that there is any comparison between the two shows.
Cheryl's not impressed by the prize 'Strictly' has on offer
She says, "Strictly is only about celebs dancing and, at the end of it, all someone gets is to walk off with a glitterball.
“But on X Factor you are changing people’s lives.”

No doubt, 'Strictly' bosses will be bemused by Cheryl's musings, as she professed herself a fan of the dancing show when her former bandmate Kimberley Walsh was a contestant, and her band Girls Aloud were happy to promote their comeback single on the show, back in 2012. But two years is a long time in showbusiness.
'X Factor' - which drew impressive ratings last week for its season debut - and 'Strictly Come Dancing' will be going head to head for viewers' affections tonight, both kicking off at 8pm on rival channels.
