Claire Sweeney has named her baby son Jaxon.
The ex-Brookside actress, 43, gave birth to Jaxon – her first child – on September 29.
Following Jaxon's birth, Claire and her ex-partner Daniel Reilly have reunited and are officially back together, with Claire thanking their newborn son for helping them work through their problems.
In an exclusive interview with OK! magazine, Claire said: "Yes, he's with me. He's amazing and he couldn't be any more supportive or a better dad. Having Jaxon made us so much closer and suddenly we feel like a team.
"I finally feel like everything is coming together, my relationship, my beautiful baby boy, everything is good, I feel so blessed."
Claire had previously said her son would be called Gabriel, because she described him as her 'little angel sent from heaven'. However the couple finally settled on Jaxon, which, according to our baby name finder, is of English origin, meaning 'God has been gracious'
Claire and Daniel shared their baby name, and the first photos of gorgeous Jaxon with a glamorous photo shoot in this week's OK! magazine.
She told the magazine all about Jaxon's arrival by planned C-section, thanking Daniel for all his support.
"Daniel took me to hospital at 11am on the Monday, I went into the operating theatre at 1am and he stayed by my side through it all," she gushed, revealing the little boy was born weighing 7lb, 6oz.
The proud new parents share the cover of OK! with fellow mum and dad Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville, who introduce their new baby daughter Ella in the same issue.
Huge congratulations Claire and Daniel and Natasha and Richie!
