The 1970s were better for a number of reasons. One was the music, but what really stood out was the mindbendingly good art work which was produced to promote bands.
Maybe there was something in the water back in those days. Whatever the reason, these rare pictures of Led Zeppelin concert posters given to HuffPost UK show how the band was promoted in wonderfully creative ways.

Some of these posters were originally used during the promotion of Led Zep IV and Houses of the Holy which have been re-released today. The pictures are available in the glossy books that come with the Super Deluxe editions.
