This CCTV footage from China's Fujian Province shows the shocking moment a car disappears into a colossal sinkhole in the road.
The gaping void was created after a sandshift left a chasm under the road, which was then opened up by the weight of a large truck.

The street surveillance footage shows an unlucky car slipping into the hole while traversing the intersection, prompting the driver and passenger to dive out of the vehicle to safety. Moments later, the road surface crumbles beneath their sedan causing the entire car to be sacrificed to the endless abyss.
