A UFO hunting organisation has revealed plans for a worldwide database that will allow UFO hunters to log and track UFO sightings all over the globe.
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has unveiled the plan to build a massive network that can be accessed online via desktop, laptop mobile or tablet.
UFO News:
The easy-to-use database will allow people who captured sightings on their phones to quickly upload the footage and give information on what they saw allowing the wider community to then see it in relation to any similar sightings in that area.
With over 500 to 1,000 sightings being sent to MUFON for analysis every month, the hope is that the new database will drastically improve those figures while removing the need for MUFON to check every single one.
Of course it does raise the question: With video editing technology so freely available and hoaxes proving harder to spot than ever will this not invite a new wave of pranksters?
