NASA Astronaut Captures Huge Lightning Storm From Space

NASA Astronaut Terry Virts has been instrumental in making sure we get our space fix from the International Space Station.

Regularly posting vines from the station, Virts has been focusing a lot on night footage recently capturing some incredible thunderstorms from space.

Contrasting this with his most recent video, Virts posted a beautiful night flyover of India at night. With the city lights from India's east coast flickering through the clouds it's hard not to feel a pang of jealousy that this is a view Virts sees almost every single day.
