A 21-year-old woman is in a critical condition in a Russian hospital after posing with a gun to her temple while taking a selfie and accidentally pulling the trigger.
The young office worker was rushed to Moscow's Sklifosovsky hospital where she remains in a serious conditions.
News agencies report she found the gun lying around her office while the security guard was on vacation, so decided to take a picture with it but squeezed the trigger by accident.

The security guard may face up to six months in prison for negligent weapon possession leading to injury.
"The letter of the law states that firearms, with the owner absent, should be kept in a special safe, beyond the reach of those not authorised to use it," a source told RIA Novosti.
