Rules are there to be broken. Or so this father believes.
Much to the delight of this sport-loving bride, Jim Mickunas from Ohio decided to scrap the traditional dance at his daughter Kandice's wedding in favour of a game of catch.
Watch as Mickunas brings a baseball and gloves onto the dance floor, and - rather than waltzing around the room - they throw the ball to one another from across the room.
Mickunas then hands over the gloves to his son-in-law, which is pretty symbolic in itself, who continues the game - much to the bride's delight.
Writing on YouTube, Mickunas describes his daughter as someone who has "always found her own path".
"She played Flag football at 6. She hated wearing dresses. She wore a tuxedo to her first communion," he says. "She then became an engineer for the largest automaker in the world when she was 22.
"I could not imagine having a traditional father daughter dance with her. That is not what we were or are."
