A man from California has hit News Feeds everywhere after sharing a photo appearing to show a deep fried rat he was served at a local branch of KFC.
According to Devorise Dixon, he immediately showed to item to the manager of the franchise who allegedly said: "That's a rat."
Dixon actually bit into the item before realising what it looked like: "As I bit into it I noticed that it was very hard and rubbery which made me look at it," he said. "As I looked down at it I noticed that it was was in a shape of a rat with a tail. It sent deep chills throughout my whole body! I’ve been feeling weird ever since."
Dixon later shared a video of the mysterious food item, hoping to fend off allegations of Photoshopping:
The fast food giant still doesn't believe him, however. In statement, they said: "KFC has made various attempts to contact this customer, but he is refusing to talk to us directly or through an attorney.
"Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape, and we currently have no evidence to support this allegation. We have extended the opportunity to have an independent lab evaluate the product at our own expense, but the customer refuses to provide the product in question."
