Chris Moyles is set to make a return to radio, with a new breakfast show on Xfm, according to reports.
The DJ left Radio 1 back in 2012, and his replacement Nick Grimshaw hasn’t exactly been a huge hit with listeners.

Now, The Sun reports that Chris will be making a comeback on commercial station Xfm, which is owned by Global Radio, after signing a new deal earlier this week.
A source tells the paper: “It’s a massive coup for XFM to be able to sign Chris.
“He was enjoying not having all of the usual pressures and early starts that come with breakfast radio so bosses were well aware that they had to offer him a great deal to entice him back.
“He plans to spend the next two months developing ideas for the new show and how he wants the format to be.
“Chris will also take a networking trip to LA.”

The paper adds that Chris will be back in the studio in September, and he’s currently busy picking a team to work on the show.
The move will make Chris a direct rival for Nick, who recorded his lowest ever listening figures back in May.
Nick’s got a busy year ahead, and next week, he’ll take a seat on the ‘X Factor’ panel, alongside Rita Ora, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
