Another day, another naughty word on Countdown.

Joining the stable of “erection”, “gobshite” and “minges” comes the gleefuly rude addition of “slutz”.

Presenter Rachel Riley couldn’t hide her smirk as she selected the letters for contestant Chris Reeves.

Host Nick Hewer tried to bluster through nonetheless, muttering: “Let’s speed this along.”
