US network Fox have revealed that they are planning a ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ remake, which will star Laverne Cox.

The remake is slated for release in Autumn 2016, but there’s no word yet on who’ll be joining Laverne in the TV film.

The original 1975 movie has become an unconventional hit, and starred Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as Janet Weiss and Brad Majors.

‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ is now a cult classic, and screening events - at which attendees often dress up - are often held around Halloween.

Laverne has already won thousands of fans thanks ‘OITNB’, in which she plays Sophia, a transgender woman imprisoned for credit card fraud.
