'Strictly Come Dancing' 2015: Anita Rani Calls For Skimpier Costumes For Routines With Partner Gleb Savchenko

Strictly's Anita Calls For Skimpier Costumes

Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant Anita Rani has called for skimpier outfits on the show.

The presenter is used to covering up in anoraks and wellies on ‘Countryfile’, but she's now admitted that she loves showing off her more glamorous side on the BBC ballroom competition.

While Anita was initially dubious about the revealing nature of some of her costumes, she’s now promising fans they’ll see more of her as the weeks go on.

Speaking to The Sun, she said of her first outfit: “The first thing I said was, ‘Where’s the rest of it’.

“But how quickly things change. Now I’m like ‘Bring it on’. I’ll probably be in a bikini by week seven.”

Anita is dancing with new professional Gleb Savchenko on this year’s series, and Saturday night’s live show saw the pair awarded their highest score of the competition so far, bagging 32/40 for their Tango to Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’.

She recently claimed that she and Gleb have an “intense” relationship, and things can get quite fiery between them in the training room.

"We work really, really hard and Gleb trains me," she said on ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’. "His choreography is incredible. I don't know, I just try and basically pay attention.

"We have our ups and downs. We have quite an intense relationship."

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues on Saturday (31 October) with a Halloween special at 6.35pm on BBC One.
