She’s now announced her latest venture will serve as a total change in direction, telling Radio 2’s Simon Mayo: “I have an idea for a children's book.
“Actually I have written part of a children's book that I really love, so I'm definitely going to finish that. There will be another children's book.”
However, she hasn’t left the ‘Harry Potter’ world behind completely, having also made her screenwriting debut with the forthcoming spin-off film, ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’, which will see Eddie Redmayne taking on the leading role opposite Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston and Gemma Chan.
Rowling has also been heavily involved in the upcoming play, ‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’, which will act as the eighth instalment in the hit series.
While not much is known about the play’s plot, its official synopsis revealed it will flash-forward several years, with Harry now working at the Ministry Of Magic, with a son of his own.
