All eyes were glued to the screen when Barto Joly de Lotbiniere took to his seat for the weekly University Challenge showdown on Monday.

And, when the York University contestant finally buzzed, we were not disappointed.

Unsurprisingly, the people of Twitter were delighted with what they deemed the "best moniker ever".

And, luckily for us, York beat the Christ's College Cambridge University team, so we can look forward to seeing history student Joly de Lotbiniere again.

Also, a notable mention must go to the lesser-named Smith, who "had no idea why" he buzzed..
