The duo have their chat as planned, however, they don’t realise that Tracey Barlow is hiding in the kitchen and has heard the whole conversation.
Things then go from bad to worse when Robert leaves, and masked thugs run in to rob the Bistro.
Does Tracey decide to help Carla, despite their bad blood? Um, no. No, she doesn’t.
Carla gives chase when they steal her handbag, but she ends up being dragged along the cobbles by their getaway van - will she survive the incident?
Alison King, who plays Carla, recently confirmed that she’s leaving the soap for good, telling Radio Times: “It's been put out there that I'm taking a sabbatical, but I'm not.
“They’ve very graciously left the doors open for me to come back if I want to. And I haven't ruled that out. But this is a new chapter for me.”
These scenes will air on Monday 18 January. Catch up on all the latest ‘Corrie’ news and spoilers here.
