Wayne Rooney And Coleen Rooney Have Just Given Birth To Third Son Kit Joseph Rooney

Proud dad Wayne Rooney, 30, has announced the birth of his third son Kit Joseph Rooney with the following tweet:

'Our gorgeous little boy arrived today. Kit Joseph Rooney. 8Ib 1oz. We are over the moon.'

Although Rooney isn't as prolific on social media about his family as David Beckham, he posted a picture of himself, Coleen and sons Kai, six, and Klay, two, the day before the birth.

Coleen had previously said that she had found pregnancy to be a different experience the third time around. "I've been more energised, but I don't know whether it's because I have two others to crack on with," she told new! magazine.

The couple had chosen not to find out the sex of the child ahead of the birth - with many guessing it would be a girl.

“The first time with Kai, we didn’t find out,” she said. “We did ask the second time with Klay but, with this one, when it came to the crunch at the scan, I had thought I’d want to know – but it turns out I didn’t."
