Danniella Westbrook has revealed that ‘EastEnders’ viewers should expect an appearance from Sam Mitchell in the coming months.
The star, who got through to the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ final over the weekend, couldn’t resist chatting about a possible soap return during an appearance on ‘This Morning’.

When Holly Willoughby asked whether Sam would be joining the rest of the Mitchell clan for Peggy’s final farewell later this year, Danniella admitted: "You'll probably see a little bit of Sam Mitchell this year."
"They're in talks with my agent at the moment, but I've been offered a different soap that's more long, that I'll probably go to,” she said. “[The role is] probably more long-running.
"But I'm not going to say I won't be going back to ‘EastEnders’ for a small while."
"But I'm an actor, and as much as I loved doing ‘EastEnders’, loved being Sam Mitchell, I want to be seen in other roles as well.
“I want to change it up a bit. I'm a bit older and I want to try and do other things.”
While Daniella has remained tight-lipped over the other mystery soap, there’s been speculation over whether a ‘Hollyoaks’ comeback could be on the cards.
The actress previously played Trudy Ryan in the Channel 4 show and was due to return in summer 2015 however, the plans were called off at the last minute.
