Speaking to The Sun at Wednesday (24 February) night’s Brit Awards, Louis said: “Of course, it’s really exciting.
“We’ve had no official conversation yet. But yeah, I mean, why wouldn’t I?”
New dad Louis, who found fame as a contestant on ‘X Factor’ in 2010, has already served as a guest judge at Simon Cowell’s Judges Houses last year, has been been linked to a spot on the panel on numerous occasions.

However, former judge Louis Walsh is also in the running to make a sensational return to the show, alongside former presenter Dermot O’Leary, who is strongly rumoured to be taking back the reins from outgoing hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
Nick Grimshaw confirmed his exit from the show last week, after just one series as a judge.
He has since claimed it was always his intention to just stay for a year, telling OK! magazine: “I just thought at Christmas it was something I loved doing and I thought it was something that I just would do once.”
