Been coveting a quilted Chanel 2.55 handbag, but can't justify the dent in your bank balance? The French fashion house has the solution - quilted eyeshadow.
Debuted on the models at the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2016 show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday 8 March (including Gigi Hadid no less) the bag-inspired look was conceptualised by head makeup artist Tom Pecheux.
Matte brown eyeshadow was painstakingly applied with a stencil to the eyelids, with a subtle ombre effect towards the edges.
Along with resembling Chanel's quilted hangbags, the makeup was also created to give the illusion that the models were wearing a veil.
