Anyone who’s been following Adele’s tour so far will know that she hasn’t exactly been negligent to the fans who got her where she is today.
Over the past few weeks, she’s been secretly signing a select number of tour programmes, photobombing one lucky concert-goer and even making one 12-year-old fan’s dreams come true by inviting her on stage to perform with her.
And now she’s at it again, welcoming one lucky couple to the stage during her first date at London’s O2 Arena, after spotting a man proposing to his girlfriend in the middle of her song ‘Make You Feel My Love’.
When she spotted a man getting down on one knee during the track - later revealed to be “their song” - she quickly ushered them on stage so everyone could share in the romantic moment.
Upon discovering that the couple had been together for over 12 years, Adele joked: “So you've been going out longer than I've been making music!
“That was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed at one of my shows. Thank you.”
Over the next three weeks, the ‘Adele Live 2016’ tour will play at venues across the UK, with dates remaining in London, Glasgow and Birmingham, before the ‘When We Were Young’ singer takes the show across Europe and North America, finishing in November.
Despite her hectic schedule, though, Adele still has time to do some good, recently paying a special visit to a seriously ill 12-year-old superfan.
