High street fashion retailer Topshop has come under fire from Adele fans after featuring the singer on their blog and social media.
The brand posted a blog titled '6 Reasons Why We Are Adele's Biggest Fans', promoting it on Twitter and Instagram with the caption: "2, 4, 6, 8 who do we appreciate? @Adele".

Although the blog post about Adele was complimentary, many fans picked up on Topshop's use of the phrase '2, 4, 6, 8", and used this to form the basis of a critique of the fact the brand's clothes run from sizes 4-16, and it does not currently sell a plus size range or use curvier models in its imagery and campaigns.

The Huffington Post UK reached out to Topshop but they declined to comment.
