Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt To Appear On 'First Dates' Alongside Esther Ranzten And Jess Wright

'Gogglebox' regular Scarlett Moffatt is set to appear on an upcoming celebrity special of 'First Dates'.

The star will be looking for love on the hit dating show alongside TV presenter Esther Rantzen and former 'TOWIE' star Jess Wright, Channel 4 have confirmed.

Paralympian Will Bayley will also be among the celebrity daters, as the show airs four star-studded specials during its next series.

However, we're guessing that the episodes have already been filmed, as Scarlett is currently loved up with boyfriend Luke Crodden.

The pair confirmed their relationship back in April, and have been posting pictures of each other on social media ever since.

It's not currently known how the couple met, so wouldn't it be a great twist if it turns out they met on 'First Dates'?

News of Scarlett's appearance on the show comes after it was claimed 'Googlebox' bosses were clamping down on their stars doing other programmes.

A source told The Sun: “The cast are the hottest things around right now and brands are offering big money to snap them up for other TV projects and endorsements – but Channel Four bosses fear the more they’re seen, the less appeal the show will have.

"There have been discussions amongst the cast about negotiating any contracts ahead of the next series with what they can and can’t do.”

'First Dates' returns to Channel 4 later this year.
