‘Great British Bake Off’ winner Nadiya Hussain won over even more fans on Wednesday (24 August) night, thanks to the first episode of her impeccably-titled new series ‘The Chronicles Of Nadiya’.

In a genius scheduling move, the show was aired after the 2016 ‘Bake Off’ series premiere, and it’s safe to say that 2015 champ Nadiya was a hit with fans:

Nadiya is GORGEOUS. She's one of those people that just makes your heart swell. #chroniclesofnadiya

The episode was the first of two, and it saw Nadiya travel back to her ancestral home of Bangladesh, visiting her family in a village in the north east of the country and cooking with them.

Since triumphing on ‘Bake Off’ last year, Nadiya has remained in the spotlight and recently made an appearance on the iconic Radio 4 show Desert Island Discs. She’s also served a guest panelist on ‘Loose Women’.
